AION 2 codes: what is active right now
No AION 2 coupon is active today. This page names the official channels we read, the time we last read them, the one coupon NCSOFT has issued so far with both of its end times, where a new coupon would be announced, and why the strings on third-party code lists are not added here.
Short answer
No AION 2 coupon is active. On 17 October 2026 we read every announcement NCSOFT has published for the game and found exactly one coupon ever issued: TAKEFLIGHTAION2, whose period closed on 13 October at 11:00 PM PDT and 14 October at 08:00 CEST. No replacement has been announced, and the coupon strings circulating on code lists have no official announcement behind them.
Reported expired
Kept on the page with the report date so you can stop retrying them.
| Code | Reward | Status | Conditions | Source | Last reviewed |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| TAKEFLIGHTAION2 | Odyle Energy (Bound) x4, Resurrection Spiritstone (Bound) x5, Battle Enhance Scroll (Bound) x10 | Reported expired | All global servers. One redemption per account. Rewards are bound and cannot be traded. Redeem in game under Settings > Miscellaneous > Account > Enter Coupon. |
Scroll the table sideways to see every column.
How to redeem, and what to do when it fails
The table above is the whole picture: one coupon, published by NCSOFT, already past its stated end time. Copying a code here does not redeem it, and nothing on this page changes when you use the copy button.
The official channels we read, and when
Last read on 17 October 2026 at 15:00 UTC:
- NCSOFT’s AION 2 announcement channel on Steam. We read the complete run of announcements the publisher has posted for the game, from the global release announcement in April 2026 to the account restriction notice posted on 17 October, and searched every one of them for the words coupon, redeem, promo code and code. Exactly one announcement issues a coupon, and it is the expired one archived below. We read the channel through Steam’s own news feed rather than page by page, because the announcement pages render their text in the browser.
- The official AION 2 site at plaync.com. On the date above it serves its navigation only, with every article body rendered in the browser, so there is nothing on it we can read or quote.
Four other giveaways sit in that run and none of them uses a coupon: the Customization Voucher on 5 October, the appreciation scroll bundle on 1 October, the compensation for the 8 October European outage, and the Launch Rewards that stay claimable for anyone who logs in before the 1 December maintenance. All four arrive in your in-game mail or inbox on their own.
How to redeem a coupon when one is live
- Open Settings in game.
- Go to Miscellaneous, then Account.
- Choose Enter Coupon, type the coupon exactly as written, and press Confirm.
Rewards from the first coupon arrived in game rather than in the shop, and the announcement limited it to one redemption per account across all global servers.
Expired coupon archive
TAKEFLIGHTAION2 — Odyle Energy (Bound) x4, Resurrection Spiritstone (Bound) x5, Battle Enhance Scroll (Bound) x10. The announcement opened the period on 1 October, when servers came back from maintenance, and closed it on 13 October at 11:00 PM PDT for North America and on 14 October at 08:00 CEST for Europe. The two regions close several hours apart, which is the usual reason a coupon is refused while a guide site still calls it active.
We keep it on the page on purpose. It is the coupon every other list still shows, so the useful thing we can do is tell you its period is over and save you the attempt.
Where a new coupon would appear
In NCSOFT’s own AION 2 announcement channel, the same place the first one was published. Coupons there come with an explicit start and end, separate end times for North America and Europe, and the reward list in full. When one appears we add it with its period and the announcement it came from, and we re-read that channel while a coupon is live rather than once a week.
Why third-party code lists are not copied here
A code is only worth printing if an announcement stands behind it. On 17 October 2026 a currency-selling site was publishing a string called AION2SEASON3 as an AION 2 promo code, complete with redemption steps. It appears nowhere in the publisher’s announcements, and AION 2 had its global release on 5 October 2026, so there is no third season for it to belong to. Strings like that cost you nothing but an error message, and they cost the list that printed them nothing at all.
We also do not mark any coupon as tested. We have no play account to redeem one with, so the page tells you what the publisher published and stops there.
Questions readers ask
- Where do I enter an AION 2 coupon?
- In game, open Settings, then Miscellaneous, then Account, then Enter Coupon. Type the coupon and press Confirm. That path comes from the announcement that issued the first coupon.
- Can I still redeem TAKEFLIGHTAION2?
- No. The announcement that issued it set the period to end on 13 October at 11:00 PM PDT for North America and 14 October at 08:00 CEST for Europe. Both have passed.
- Are the coupon rewards tradable?
- No. The announcement states every item from that coupon is bound, and the coupon can be redeemed once per account.
